@Miles: The Apache part of this setup would be roughly the same. The bootstrap.php file would need to change to match the domain instead of the subdomain (but you’d want to use the same basic comparison, to avoid confusion with a subdomain such as www). Same goes for routes.php.

Mind you, I haven’t done this, but altering this example to fit your situation shouldn’t be overly complex. Good luck!!

Awesome article – just what I was looking for…I think. Will this technique work with totally new domains? i.e. METRO.COM as opposed to METRO.EXAMPLE.COM. What do I need to change? I have a VPS with Apache and cPanel – do I need to do something with addon domains?
